  • ½ cup of milk
  • ¼ cup of sugar
  • ⅓ cup of unsalted melted butter
  • 4-5 tbsp of cornbread flour
  • 1 canned sweet corn kernels
  • 1 canned sweet corn cream or cornstarch

Corn Pudding Recipe Guide – Steps To Follow

Step 1

To begin this quick and easy dessert recipe, firstly, take out a glass bowl and crack in 5 whole eggs. We have used regular eggs here. Whisk it for a few minutes. Beat the eggs slightly with a light hand.

Step 2

For the next step of this yummy recipe, pour the measured quantity of milk into the glass bowl. Then add sugar and unsalted butter into the bowl. Whisk it all well until properly combined. Make sure that your granulated sugar is properly infused with the other ingredients. We want a smooth consistency here.

Step 3

Next, add one whole can of sweet corn kernels into the bowls. Don’t forget to drain out the liquid from the corn kernels. Transfer the canned sweet corn kernels to a strainer and then add this to the egg mixture.

We are also using creamed corn here, but if you want, you can skip this ingredient. Now, in the egg mixture, pour in a whole can of creamed sweet corn. With the help of a spatula or a whisk, mix everything together.

Lastly, add 4 to 5 tbsp. of cornbread flour into your corn pudding batter. We have used cornbread flour here, but if you do not find this in-store you can also use cornstarch here. Whisk it for one last time and move ahead to the baking process.

The prep time for this dessert recipe usually varies from 15 to 20 minutes. But you have to keep at least one hour in hand to bake a good corn pudding. The outcomes of this dessert recipe will heavily depend on your baking skills. Pour in the corn pudding batter into a casserole.
