Beef Braciole Recipe: A Step-by-step Guide Only For You
Step 1
First, you will have to take a medium-sized glass bowl. Clean it thoroughly under cold water and wipe it clean with a cloth. Once the bowl is completely dry, start assembling the ingredients one by one. Put the Parsley Leaves and Bread crumbs into the bowl first. With a spoon, start to stir and combine them.
Step 2
Next, include the Parmesan Cheese, Salt and Garlic Powder into the bowl. In order to make the mix for the Braciole Recipe smoother, this is where you need to add the Virgin Olive Oil. Keep mixing these ingredients thoroughly with a spoon. For better results, you can put all these into a blender or food processor, too.
Step 3
Take a sharp knife and start slicing the flank of Steak carefully. For better results, put it on a flat wooden plank and sharpen your knife for accurate slicing. Make 2 to 3 slices depending on how thick the steak slices are. Now, we are going to make sure that the steak meat is tender enough for the Beef Braciole Recipe.
Step 4
Lay the steak slices on a flat surface, and take a meat tenderizer. Start beating the beef steak meat till you are feeling it is getting tender and flattened enough. Afterward, lay the Prosciutto on the steak and make sure it is flat. Top this up with the breadcrumb mixture uniformly and roll the entire thing up. Tightly wrap it with a butcher string.
Step 5
Next, pour adequate amounts of Salt and Pepper to coat the outside of the steak roll. Set them aside and take a large pot. Pour in the Virgin Olive Oil inside the pot and place it upon medium high heat. Soon, the oil will start to get hot enough, roughly after 5 to 7 minutes of heating. Put the Bracioles in it and start cooking.
Step 6
Sear each side of them for 1 minute to 90 seconds at least. Once the Authentic Italian Braciole Recipe beef steak rolls are red enough, set them aside. Then, lower the heat and add the spoon of Olive oil. Sauté garlic cloves in it for at least 1 to 2 minutes till they are translucent. Once it happens, pour in the Red Wine and the liquid will start to boil. Bring it to a simmer first.
Step 7
Now, add basil, crushed tomatoes, salt and bring the entire liquid to a simmer first. After 15 to 20 seconds, add the Braciole into this sauce and make sure that the sauce is covering it entirely. For better results, use an wooden spoon. Cover this with a lid and let is simmer for at least 3 hours at a medium low heat setting.
Step 8
Stir occasionally to make sure the sauce gets in literally everywhere. Once done, cut the strings off and take them out of the sauce. Use kitchen shears for better results. Your Braciole Recipe is now ready. Serve this over pasta, coated with grated Parmesan Cheese.
