Broiled Shrimp Recipe Guide – Steps In Details

Step 1

To begin this extremely delish recipe of Broiled Shrimp, firstly, properly clean your shrimp. Use big and meaty pieces of shrimp and wash them properly. Never forget to remove the dark vein from the shrimps. For this process, use a knife to make a shallow cut on the back of the shrimp pieces.

Step 2

Moving on to the butter, garlic and spice mixture! Here we are using only butter, cajun spice mix, salt, pepper, finely chopped parsley, minced garlic cloves and paprika powder. In a bowl put all the ingredients and then mix it well.

Step 3

A quick tip here would be to use softened unsalted butter, not melted butter! You can also replace the Cajun spice mix with Cayenne pepper powder. If you don’t like the bites of garlic, then you can simply replace it with garlic powder. Again, if you want to skip butter, feel free to use olive oil.

Step 4

Now, beautifully and evenly rub your prepared spicy and seasoned garlic butter on the shrimp pieces. Cut the shrimps from the center, flatten them and then fill in the middle part of the shrimps with your prepared butter mix.

Step 5

Place all the shrimp pieces on your baking tray and now is the time to switch on the broiler setting of your oven. Heat is released from the top which will give a very charred texture to your shrimps. Broil the shrimp pieces for a total of 6 to 8 minutes.

Step 6

In case you are making this dish for your kids, you can also cover the shrimp with a generous amount of grated cheese! Enjoy your broiled shrimp pieces with some classic beer
