Ingredients

Four cups of cooked rice(use short-grain rice, and it will be preferable if you use a rice cooker to cook it)

Half pound of beef skirt steak(you can also use a tenderloin, which has been cut into small long pieces)

One large carrot

3 eggs

One small bunch of spinach

5-6 cloves of garlic

two teaspoons of soy sauce

1 and one fourth tablespoon of brown sugar(white sugar can also be used)

Two and a half tablespoons of toasted sesame oil

Salt according to taste

2-3 tablespoons of normal vegetable oil

A single stick of Danmuji(you can get it at your nearby Korean supermarket or order it online)

4-5 sheets of seaweed paper

Steps

1. For the first step you will prepare the rice, after it has been cooked you will put it in a Big Bowl and then add in a little bit of salt, not too much along with two tablespoons of sesame oil, mix it with your hand or a wooden spatula and keep it aside to cool down a bit.

2. In the next step you will thinly slice the carrots then keep it in a bowl, add in a bit of salt mix it well, and keep it aside for further cooking. Now in a boiling water pot, you will blanch your spinach for about 30 seconds to 1 minute, take it out, chop the lower end, add in your salt,2 cloves of minced garlic, and half a tablespoon of sesame oil, and set it aside for further use.

3. Moving to the third step in which you will be thinly, slicing the danmuji, and keeping it aside. Now you will be heating a pan, add in a bit of vegetable oil, and then put in the carrots, stir fry for a bit, but the carrots shouldn’t lose any color, and take it out.

4. Then in the same pan you will be cooking your steak, but for that, you will need to slice the steak into long thin pieces, then add in your soy sauce, the rest of the garlic(minced), a bit of salt, black pepper along with your sugar and mix it will. Then in the pan, you will add in some more oil, and cook the marinated steak.

5. Now let’s come to the last component which is cooking the egg, you will make a thin omelet, and then slice it into thin long pieces. Time for assembly now, take a bamboo Mat and then lay a sheet of seaweed paper, on that add in rice and spread it out, but leave about 2 inches of seaweed paper not covered. Then in the middle add in your filling, one by one, in moderate quantity, and roll the rice using the bamboo mat. Slice it up into small rolls and serve it up.
