● This is actually a variation from the British Crumble, that originated mainly during the second World War. The British discovered it while rationing for the war.

Ingredients:
● 5 cups of peeled and diced Apples
● 70 ml pure Home made Maple Syrup
● 65 gm Brown Sugar
● 2 to 3.5 teaspoons of fresh Lemon Juice,
● 1 teaspoon of pure Vanilla extract for Apple Crisp aroma.
● 1 teaspoon of freshly ground Allspice
● 1 teaspoon of grounded cinnamon and nutmeg
● 2 tablespoons of Corn Starch
● 100 gm gluten-free Oats
● A pinch of Pink Salt
● Half cup of Almond Flour
● 70 gm Unsalted Butter
Best Apple Crisp Recipe: A Step-by-step Guide For You
Step – 1
Start by preheating your Dutch oven to 340°F. Then, take a medium glass bowl and add the apples into it. Include vanilla extract, maple syrup, cornstarch into the bowl. Start mixing them slowly and add nutmeg, Allspice, cinnamon into the filling mixture.

Slowly coat the pieces of apple are properly with the mixture. In a greased square baking pan, spread the apple mixture gradually and evenly. Please make sure nothing is spilling outside the pan. Next, we need to make the topping of this homemade Apple Crisp.

Once you are done spreading the apple mixture, take another glass bowl. Pour the almond flour, along with Rolled oats and brown sugar. Start whisking this thoroughly. As you are whisking and mixing, please check for small sugar lumps in the mixture. Disintegrate them by whisking vigorously.

Once there are no more lumps in the bowl, add cinnamon to the mixture. Sprinkle a bit of Salt from above. Melt the unsalted butter completely and add it slowly. After that, sprinkle this thick topping over the apple mixture we have from before. Take fresh almond slices and start garnishing from the top.

Finally, we are nearly on the end of this Apple Crisp recipe. After spreading almond slices, start baking the dish for at least 30 minutes.
