● 9 to 10 medium-sized apples

● Half cup Water

● 2 cinnamon sticks 

● Half cup Apple Cider

● 1/4 teaspoon of Cloves

● Granulated White Sugar

Step 1

First, we need to clean our apples properly under running water. Take a soft absorbent cloth and put it on a flat surface. Pour in the whole apples and carefully remove every bit of water drop from them. With a peeler, start peeling the apples and remove their skins completely. 

Step 2

Once you are done peeling, arrange the apples on a chopping board and start chopping them. First, slit them and remove the core of the apples for your Cinnamon Applesauce Recipe. Carefully remove all the seeds. Afterward, cut the apples in diced pieces and make them small to medium in size. 

Step 3

Take a 4-quarter sauce pan and add half a cup of water to it. Pour in 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and whole cloves. Take a wooden spoon and combine it well with the water. Turn on the heat and slightly warm this mixture up. Soon, the water will start to simmer and when it does, turn off the heat. Add granulated sugar to the pan.

Next, add the apple cubes into the saucepan. Once all the pieces are in it, add apple cider. Take the cinnamon sticks and scatter them from above.
